July In Review – Income/Expense and Net Worth

August 6, 2013 by Justin Weinger

I know it’s a few days late but here’s a quick review of our July numbers, as they relate to our FI Journey.

July Review

July’s income was great! My company paid out quarterly profit-sharing bonuses which were fairly large for us, so that really helped us attack the mortgage this month (see below).

July’s expenses weren’t bad at all, we came under budget overall, which is all I’m ever looking for. Recently that’s been a struggle, so I end up having to move a few dollars over from savings to cover.

The mortgage balance is down to $33,600, and the value of our house on Zillow.com is up to $109,685. As of this writing we should pay off our mortgage in 22 more months!

Investments are all in my 401k at the moment, and are sitting at $62,585

Total Net Worth: $152,620
