It’s the weekend, huzzah! Today my family and I will be trying to relax a little bit and catch up on time with dad. We’re also planning to shop for our Operation Christmas Child shoebox supplies so that we can turn that in tomorrow. It takes time to ship those things all over the world!
What are you up to this weekend?
A Few Faves From This Week
Jen over at The Happy Homeowner wrote about volunteering this week, and asks a great question: Not Volunteering Your Time and Money? What’s Your Excuse?
Mr. and Mrs. PoP told some great stories (especially the one about the spray paint) in: He Said She Said – The Best Worst Present You’ve Ever Received
Speaking of funny dual-author posts, Mr. and Mrs. 1500 wrote a hilarious Thursday Rant: Sister Thrifter and the Half-Frugal Prince
And to wrap up this week I really enjoyed Holly’s post at Get Rich Slowly this week on student loans. As someone who never went to college (on purpose) and is enjoying a moderately successful career in technology, I find this topic fascinating! Student loans: Lessons learned, choosing a major, and overcoming regrets
